Always look forward to seeing a new book by Slack. She is one of my favorite authors. Her writing is very real, without some of the language of more mainstream authors.
I enjoyed A Little Goodbye. I like the author's style of writing and her thoughts on faith. I can relate to the story about adoption and it's challenges.
Read "A Little Goodbye" last week (for the second time!) I liked it even better this time! I would be up for a 3rd book in this series! ???
Teresa's characters are very believable and interesting. I was entertained and inspired!!
After reading the first book in the series, I had to know what happened to the kids, Aunt Shell and Pastor Kyle. So enjoyed both these books. Loved her approach to Christianity. So realistic.
The second book still hold you wanting more.
The characters interactions and story line keep you reading and not put down.
I have read all of Teresa Slack's books and will continue for as long as she writes! I love every one of her books. This series is wonderful, she puts into perspective real life troubles that we see in our world and sometimes our own lives. If you have children or irresponsible siblings, you can connect with this story for sure.
